NOTE TO PARTICIPANTS

Our area is doing very well in soccer – on both the boys and girls side. The success is a result of the level of athleticism combined with improved training at all levels starting at young ages. There are many good players in this area, and I want this trend to continue. This camp will begin the training for what I hope will be a group of young players who are interested in pursuing soccer first at the high school level and hopefully beyond. If properly trained our local schools and club teams will contend for state championships for many years to come.

Since its inception Pantuosco’s Soccer Camps have educated over 25,000 players.  Some of the players who have attended camp over the years have played in the MLS, the NASL, USL and other professional leagues. The camp has helped produce hundreds of college and high schools stars.

Over the past twenty five years, I have traveled throughout SC, NC, MA, NY and GA conducting coaching clinics for the NSCAA, and directing soccer camps for clubs and teams in SC, NC, GA, MA and NY. Now, my goal is to stay local and provide training to players who want to become better.

The goal of the day camp is to have fun while learning the technical aspects of the game of soccer: such as shooting, dribbling, and passing. Each player will get instruction in areas where he or she needs improvement. The coaches are qualified to work with players at all levels from beginners to classic. The coaches are enthusiastic, helpful, and motivated to make camp a fun experience for all participants.

The daily sessions will consist of a warm-up where players will work on their dribbling, passing, and receiving skills. Then, the players will be divided by age or level, into groups of approximately ten, where each player receives personalized attention. At the end of the session the players have time to play scrimmage games. Our goal is to give the players more confidence and to increase their enthusiasm about playing soccer.
